Can someone at eBay explain to me how an Australian company selling on eBay doesn't have to supply an ABN number on their invoice. It becomes frustrating having to chase up something that should be a part of doing business these days. Please fix the problem, love using eBay to purchase my products but I waste a heap of time chasing ABN, time I dont have. Thank you Andrew.

Fewer eBayers are companies as opposed to private individuals without an ABN.
Many are not required or registered for paying GST.
GST is only payable for concerns with a turnover of $75,000 plus per year.
When I buy from companies on eBay I often receive a tax invoice with the package marked as paid.
