I wonder why so many buyers think the "Community" is eBay ?

I would have thought that the word "community" was self explanatory, yet I constantly see members having to tell (mainly buyers) that we are not eBay, and eBay does not read these boards.

There is a simple reason -

There used to be on the old design underneath ask a question - Ask other members. Get advice from other members etc.

Now there is nothing except ask a question. Hence the assumption it is directed at eBay.

Because some links in the help pages will direct you to Ask a question but not tell you that you are in community.

I made the suggestion numerous times years ago and several of us have also tried to get Lithium to inform eBay of the problem.
