Interesting bidding pattern...

I have been watching this watch and was going to put in a bid.

Early 60’s Men’s IWC SHAFFHAUSEN

I looked at the bidding history of the current winning bidder who has private feedback.

Ummmmmm...

No bid coming from me.

Interesting bidding pattern...

The bidder could be an antique dealer but bidding on watches then on a doll as well seems odd.

Even though it may be bona fide, I would also stay cleer of this seller.

Appears to want to win and relist if a price is not met.

I know a little about watches and this sellers items are not a real bargain anyway.

No but a seller that doesn't want to sell below a certain price will using another account.

They will win, cancel sales and relist.

Well, it's fair to say they're not too bright starting the auction at $9

Fair suck of the saveloy Kopes - bit of a stretch methinks, in this case

The watch sold for $1,393 and I can't see any evidence of this seller

re-listing anything.

The 1939 doll is by the same seller,(sold on the 7th of March).

This type of low start auction (if it is) is usually the seller using another account and putting their "reserve" bid on 1 or 2 days before auction end.

That can get bidders bidding a little more than they usually would as they have perhaps been winning it at some stage.

If seller wins it with second account, he will cancel trans and keep it for a little later. Perhaps even relist on another account.

So now they will list 5-10 items from last month that didn't sell and relist these ones next month.

But it appears he sold most of these IF the private 100% account was his.

I have come across this method countless times in coins n banknotes.

I just seems sus in the above method as bidder bid on watches, a clock and a doll from same seller.

Thanks tazz, well there you go.

I'm a private bidder buddy, why is it any of your business what I bid on?

But if you're going to bid on the same item that I'm bidding on then we're after the same thing then aren't we lol Woman Tongue

I've come across this only a few times and when you have been around a while like us kopes then you get to know

who's who.

I'm having a great big laugh at the moment though ever since they put a piece out about the 2000 $1 mule every one is trying

to flog off their standard 2000 $1 coins lol.

It's only the mule coin that's worth anything for goodness sakes Woman LOL
