Hi,
Do you know if there is a way to track a USPS First Class Parcel once it left the USA? I have ordered 3-4 USPS First Class parvels over the last couple of months and the tracking always ends in the USA. It took one week for all of them to arrive, and I have been waiting for this for about 10 days, which is not much, I know, and I guess still normal, but I would really like to know where it is.
Maybe the seller would have to choose a more expensive USPS option (First Class is the cheapest one) for the parcel to be trackable in Australia too?
Thanks

The tracking for that service is relatively hit and miss - some of my parcels have only ever showed 'Electronic shipping information received', even after I've received the item, and the rest have only ever been tracked domestically (i.e. within the US). Some have been able to track parcels via Australia Post once they've reached Oz, but I've never been able to. I think it's the express service that has full and proper tracking.

You can ring Australia Post, give them the tracking number, and they will at least be able to tell you if the package has reached Australia:-)
Some of my packages sent with USPS have taken as long as 21 days - it all depends on where in the US the item has been sent from and which route the plane takes.

I am using this website as per the link below. I am tracking some parcels at the moment and it seems to be working fine.

First Class mail it taking longer than it used to....3 weeks is normal now whereas it used to take a week. Some of my parcels (not necessarily ebay) have taken 5 weeks.
It will only be trackable if the seller has paid extra for trackable First Class. For the most part it is only trackable to point of departure in the USA.

Hi Mariq
While you can't track these on our website I can track them internally for you. If CJ226104900US is your article number, it arrived in Aus this morning, but hasn't been released to Aus Post as yet.

No, that's one of my numbers. I was just giving her the link to the website so she can put her own number in. ๐

Thanks everyone.
Thanks for the link, beach_and_home. I have bookmarked it. It shows the same status as the link provided by the seller... And on the map it is still in NY...
Australiapoststore, this would be my tracking number if you can have a look, thanks:

Actually I was surprised myself that I got 3 in a row exactly after a week (all First Class International Mail), one actually in even less than a week. I got them last month, so not even a long time ago. Maybe the JK International Airport in NY is busier, so it takes longer (the other parcels didn't depart from there.)

I have received a parcel today, which was posted 20th July as International Letter; the same as your parcel Mariq. Interesting definition of a letter, it was a box about 17cm x 17cm x 17cm.
