This may not be anything to do with  Rolex watch you're selling ?

BUT

You have it listed to sell to overseas and you WILL be scammed.

All the buyer has to do is open  an 'item not as described dispute' and you will  lose your money and your watch.

I'll go as far as saying  there's a very good chance that the same will  happen on the AU site.

You haven't sold for a long time  so ebay will treat you as a new seller.

Are you registered to sell and signed up for managed payments   ?

and do you understand your payment will be on hold for up tp 31 days  ?

Have you read all about local pick up and how to protect yourself against a scam buyer  ?

Re: request postage permssion

After I read Casey's post, I looked up your item for sale and my blood ran cold.

Please, if you do nothing else today, take your ad down. If you really are an aussie battler (or even just your average aussie) you can't afford to lose almost $10,000.

Casey isn't a scare mongerer, she is very factual.

Find somewhere else to sell the watch, a reliable auction house or whatever, avoid ebay like the plague for those sorts of items.

And if your item sells before you can pull the listing, you are not honour bound to go through with the sale, in fact cancel it.

Re: request postage permssion

Do you mean the seller does not ship to Australia and you want to ask them if they will allow you to buy by removing the exclusion

Or are you trying to bring something in to Australia which is not allowed by customs?
