So they are supposed to stop the trucks at every town and scan every single parcel before they drive to the next town?
How much extra do you suggest AP charge us all for this pointless information?
on โ14-04-2016 11:11 PM
You are joking aren't you?
Parcels are not scanned at every town along the way to their destination.
It would take forever for them to arrive at their destination.
The usual procedure is for the parcel to be scanned in at the receiving post office, then at the main mail exchange where it would be loaded onto transport for the trip to the main mail centre in the state it is going to. Depending on how far that is from it's final destination there may be more tracking events before it is finally delivered to the addressee.

Better yet, why not a live video feed of the entire postal route...

what you are talking about is every parcel being fitted with a satelite tracking device. hmm, i'm sure if you would be happy to pay several hundred dollars per parcel it could be done that way. i think you should ring the CEO of AP and suggest it. i think he will give you a job in his ideas department.

He's an ideas man!

Can ANYONE show me the tracking of all the towns it went through and where it stopped during the 5 days from melbourne tp renmark.? and not just where it was posted and finally delivered.

*Sigh* Of course it is not scanned at every town on the route. It does not stop at every town otherwise it would take weeks to arrive.
Have you even read the answers you were given earlier?
