Death hurts and so does grief. You were both so brave.  However, he had a peaceful death, no pain , no distress and gentle. That's all we can ask for. I send you a warm arm around you , a great group here for a shoulder to cry on and we are here for the long term.  There is never a good time for anyones passing.  So just lean on those around you and let your tears honour your love and your grief.

Sorry to hear of Les's passing Misslinda but it is great that he had no pain.

I know from experience that it is hard ( apples mum ) but it's almost a relief not to have to see them in pain.
