Waves to Margo.
Margo, I met Bronwyn Bishop on a number of social occasions including some one on one conversations.
She came across as a nice person with a good sense of humour.
Pollies assume a personae that suits the occasion.
And the longer they are in politics the better they become at it.

For a liberal I thought he was pretty good for NSW, he stood up to Abbott and was one of the first to sign the Gonsky Report.
He broke that 13th commandment he got caught is all.
I agree.
I disagreed with many of his policy decisions but I also agreed with many of them.
And I also think that politicians (on either side) are entitled to moments of stupidity and forgetfullness. Afterall, they do recieve a lot of gifts.
However it would be pretty hard to forget a bottle of expensive wine thoughtfully chosen because it was made in the year you were born and then it was delivered to your home instead of your office.
In the infamous words of one pretty woman - "Big mistake. Big! HUGE!"

Geofrey Watson warned that he had more documents re O'Farrell.
I think the resignation was an attempt to divert further attention from himself.
Please note.....O'Farrell has resigned as Premier, not as a member of the NSW Parliament.
there are 3 more NSW liberal MP's to face ICAC in regard to a slush fund in a month or so. there was also the matter of the north shore liberal fundraising group that includes Joe Hockey recently, maybe it relates to saving the bacon (and pies eclairs etc) of a much bigger fish than o'farrell.. the amount of lobbying to get packers casino up would have been extensive too. Mr o'farrell may have taken this fall for a 'higher purpose'
