Do you prefer them to be just labelled as evil?

Az don't you think that evil deeds deserve an evil label?

Hurting and making him suffer solves nothing and it would not make me feel any better to retaliate.
I am not against his punishment at all.
i am tired of that old excuse of 'oh he was sick'
if he was truly sick and truly didn't know what he was doing was wrong he would not have kept it hidden all that time.
he knew - he just didn't care.
his wants were all that mattered to him - and that is NOT an illness

There isn't much point Podd........... nothing changes with a label. (I was making no judgement, just asking)
I am usually fascinated by trying to understand what makes people choose to do the things they do. This time, I can't bring myself to even read about it.

So Donna if you think that he has no excuse and should not be absolved of his evil crime than punishment is due.
He chose to do the deeds that he did, those deeds are not acceptable by either the law or by society and are below any standard of normality. Yet you and others want to treat tis subhuman individual on an even par with human behaviour.
One of the problems of modern society is that it does not do enough to prevent unacceptable social behaviour by deterring such behaviour thereby making it more acceptable.
Just look back on some recent cases like the ABC reporter's rape and murder.
Events are increasing at an alarming rate.

I don't believe this is so.
Castro was doing this for a long time, not recent behaviour.

sticking pins in him is not what anyone wanted really - i think people just wanted him to serve his sentence, the consequences of the actions he willfully took
