We have a little hole-in-the-wall burger joint down the road, one that has the same owner/head cook since 1968. She only deals in cash, so, when I volunteered at my daughter's school, I had to make sure I had enough cash for our Wednesday after-school milk shakes.

I pay all bills online, the only things I need cash for are my nail lady and small purchases under $20.The rest I use EFTPOS.
My doctor bulk bills everyone

No, never. I pay the window washer man in cash when he comes to clean the windows and his is the only invoice that is ever paid in cash.

We pay everything with cash. Got a great discount on my washing mashine and an even greater discount for a new TV. Cash still has bargaining power.
I like to take out of the Bank what I need for the week and know how much I have left in my Bank account. Having only a certain amount to spend, makes me think twice before I get tempted to buy something I don't really need.

No never, not since 1993, when eftpos was introduced (in NZ where I lived at the time).
You can still get great discounts buying big ticket items using eftpos (from savings account) it is the same to legitimaate businesses as cash (as opposed to using credit cards or buying item on hire-purchase).

Used to pay bills via telephone banking before internet banking was introduced. Been using internet banking to pay bills for 14 years.
Receive the bills by email.. no paper involved.

All my bills are paid automatically and painlessly from my bank account. Otherwise I pay everything by cards, that way I know how much I spend in a month. Cash on pick up items is the only time I handle cash.
