CJ- Wow, sorry to hear about your daughter, I cant imagine how awful it would be living in a tent, not good about the 19y/o b/f either, hopefully she will come to her senses, you've just had so much on your plate it really isnt fair.... sending you much strength to cope with the dealings with Mr B (what a jerk!), hope once you retrieve your mums belongings your brother lets loose on him!!!!

Here's a "positive" /trust the Universe story...
miss 15 went dress shopping with my little sister a few weeks ago, she found an amazing dress for her Formal in Dec, (as well as one for her Sweet 16th Party in Oct).
She phoned me all excited describing this 'incredible' dress... and oh yes it $299! ๐ฎ
Seriously! I nearly died of shock! The other dress was up there in price also, and lets not forget she is wearing a $370 Bridesmaid dress in November!
After I squashed her dreams and said (nicely) NO CHANCE of getting that dress... full stop! my little sister got online and found right here on Ebay, a seller who will custom make the dress to size for only $78!
Then when browsing their 'store' found the 2nd (bday) dress for only $68
WoW!!! I was so happy as she's tried on both dresses, and even if they dont come back 'exactly' like the pics they will be fine Im sure.
So, Id manage to put away some $$ towards these dresses, now that it was half the price for 2 dresses.....and this morning at/near work my sis randomly found a $100 note!! She said that besides our lunch being paid for, the rest was going onto the dresses, and so Ive only had to put a small amount and daughter is over the moon!! ๐

I'm pleased you had a chat to your oldest child. He obviously wasn't aware of the impact his behaviour was having on the family. They often need their egos fed, so every time he does something nice you will have to go overboard with the praise to encourage him to keep being a 'good boy'. After all, he is supposed to be the parent.

Firstly, if it was last years rates and water rates, why weren't they already paid?
Would your cousin be able to help you and your brother clear your mothers things? I know it is a big ask with it being a distance from home, but 3 days is not long and many hands make light work.

I am on a roll. On top of the trip to the NT that I won I had a phone call last night that I have won the sound track to The Sapphires. It is such a great movie, wth terrific actors and fabulous music, so I am very excited about that and can't wait to receive it.
I'm sure I mentioned to you before thatI scored tickets to a preview session of the movie and it is brilliant and you should all try and get to see it when it opens on 9th August.
I'm loving the Olympics. The young lad that my son went to Primary School and was in the same soccer team and Little Athletics made it into the Semi Finals of his race but didn't make it to the Finals. What a great result though.
The other boy who was in his classes and sport teams at High School will be racing next week.
Time for me to go to bed. I have been up all night, dozing on the lounge and watching the telly. I'll go to bed for a couple of hours.

Also, there is a place in Albion Park Rail that sell the flat pack storage boxes. Storage King.
Make sure that you are able to fit the boxes into your car or trailer, whatever you will be using.
