Coffee Splatter on Screen

Okay Foxy - I know you are out there, what do I do to fix it ?

Only it wasn't coffee, it was wine, and not just the screen, the whole laptop copped it.

Any remedies ????

No, usually only about a 5 metre radius. 

It's not a healthy relationship, either, as it's an enabler for my Fred Astaire / Singin' In The Rain obsession, much to the chagrin of the local population.

I'm afraid Ms Marlene can't quite depose the namesake of 90% of my online user IDs, including this one. 

Incidentally, if I got a message from one of my buyers saying that their tongue inadvertently purchased an item while they were licking their computer clean....I may consider sending it to them for free. :^O

:^O I nearly included some fine print to make some exclusions, just in case someone actually bought something and told me their tongue did it. (I only occasionally list CDs on this ID, not sure what you're into but if you like harsh noise / industrial / psychedelia / post rock / black metal and/or folk...keep your eye and tongue out 😛 ). 

Can't say I've ever purchased something unwittingly...about the closest I get is a few purchases that were entirely without wit. :8}

Nah d*g I will put my tongue away, I am more into craft and jewellery, but thanks anyway.

I spilled beer in my keyboard many moons ago.

I tipped it up and shook out the beer, cigarette ash, peanut crumbs etc then sprayed it with contact cleaner. Unfortunately the contact cleaner reacted with the beer and glued the keys solid. I had to get a new keyboard 😞 and a new beer

I just ran keyboard side under the hot water tap and sat in front of heater with fan to dry.

Next day it worked good as it ever did. It's a cheap Acer so it wasn't that good before.

Under the keyboard theres a metal back on mine that can be unscrewed which lifts off the face..fiddlely, ok if the use a power cordless screw driver. but it makes cleaning around the keys easy, had to do it once, does get filled with rubbish, ash, drink [drool ..perhaps while nodding off LOL
