Crowdfunding

Would you consider that option with your ideas?

I personally love this idea:

Re: Crowdfunding

Agree, from the lifestyle and the amount of usage of butter in the past, margarine was a healthier alternative.

However, now we have moved to a more health conscience society, moderation being the key, natural products appear to be less taxing on organs in the body.

Butter - Cream, water, salt.

Margarine - Vegetable oils 65% (containing 52% canola & sunflower oil), water, salt, emulsifiers (soy lecithin, 471), preservative 202, food acid (lactic), milk solids, maltodextrin, natural colour (beta-carotene), vitamins A & D, flavour.

Keeping in mind many margarines are still made with Hydrogenated oils (trans fats).

Hence the recent swing back towards all natural butter.

But stawks, having that knife at the table for your guests to admire is a treat. Smiley Wink

Yes it says that in the video BUT I don't want to grate it on my bread lol - do I have to hold it in my bare hands like cheese?

Re: Crowdfunding

Then you shouldn't have included a video - just asked the question.

Silly donna lol

Crowd funding is a brilliant idea.   But I think Aussies are a suspicious lot.

Want to know what's in it for them etc.

Hard crowd, the Aussies

Re: Crowdfunding

unfortunately - according to research,

most australians consume too much saturated fat

from animal products.   we need to eat healthier fats

such as polyunsaturated -

(omega 6 found in margarine)

not all margarines are the same of course but

the good ones are a lot  healthier than saturated fat.

Re: Crowdfunding

Anyone that still thinks eating margarine is healthier than using butter is living in the 90s.

Butter is natural and doesn't need artificial colouring. Marge is full of trans fats and who knows what oils.  It's quite yukky actually.

Having said that, I use Butter Soft from New Zealand. The ingredients are cream (from milk), water, salt and milk fat. (Yes, I checked).  I keep it in the fridge and it's always easy to spread so I would say no to the butter knife.  If you really want something like that then just scrape a bit off with a serrated knife and wait for a few seconds.
