Freddie, you don't need fancy cutlery to peel bananas
Years ago I bought a Stanley and Rogers set, cost about 80 quid. I think it was half price. I got it at a jewellers shop. It's great.
A couple of years ago I bought a set online, heaps cheaper. They look the same so I thought I was getting a bargain, but they are really light and not nice to hold. So even good brands have a range of quality. Best thing to do is go in to the shops and put er mitts on them.
When I was a kid I think Oneida was the big name in cutlery.

Thanks Marina, unfortunately we have nothing like that locally, fairly basic shopping only. However I will be heading to Sydney in January so may get time to have a bit of a look around, if I do some searching before hand.

As I said, we need to be back in Sydney in January, I will have a search around the Bondi Junction area, that's handy by bus from St. Vincents.

Thanks for your informative post Martini, you show decorum with a slight leaning to the naughty, as for the other's, I seem to attract the naughty people.

Talking of naughty people, I think Clair's been sin binned AGAIN.
