Re: Cutlery Set

Freddie, Check put Grosvner, Stanley Rodgers and John Baker.

All top quality and the price range is between $150 and $1,500 there is more if if really want to get fancy pants stuff. in both stainless steel, silver plate or solid silver

I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

Re: Cutlery Set

Freddie, I don't think you can past Georg Jenson cutlery, but it may not be to your taste.

I like super modern Danish design, very lighweight, and the finest stainless steel available....yes, t here are grades of ss.

You can check out Georg Jenson's website in Oz.

Re: Cutlery Set

Thanks freshie, Poddy thanks I like a heavy handle knife and fork, I understand why most on this thread are saying you need to feel them. The one I have is a poor excuse for a cutlery set, it's light weight and it's cheap and nasty, I now use it for every day use.

Freshie I will check them  out.

Re: Cutlery Set

Freddie, my very favourite cutlery set is Rodd "Camille" design. I have the stainless steel version as it's good for everyday use and OK for putting in the dishwasher, but one day I will buy the silver plated version to use just for special occasions. If I wasn't on the IPad I'd find a link to show it to you, so will do that later

Re: Cutlery Set

Oh Deb thanks I would love to see it. Does the knife and fork feel like you have a knife and fork in your hand? More to the point do the handles feel solid?

Re: Cutlery Set

Yes, especially the knife handles they are sort of double sided but hollow so they're not too heavy if that makes any sense
