You guys sound so grown up talking about cutlery.
I have no idea where I bought or how I accumulated my drawer of cutlery. It's just always 'been' there.
I do have some lovely antique silver dessert and serving spoons I acquired from my grandmother and from random op shopping.

When Platinum was discovered in the 1740s (I think), it was first alloyed with gold in experimentation to discover it's properties and uses.
But....for production, it was alloyed with **bleep**nic.
So I wouldn't be using that cutlery for eating purposes myself if it's early Platinum.
Edit: I cannot believe that a common element was just bleeped.
a r s e n i c for those who may be perplexed.
*points and laffs*

St Jude was busy and sent me as the proxy.
pfft, that looks like mine, it's too shiny to be yours!
It's not me that got bleeped, ya know?
Halos are like cutlery, you have to keep them polished. and bleeping causes halos to tarnish worse than egg yolk on silver.
