Did k Rudd decline to challenge

Because he is a man of his word or because he didn’t want to be PM when labor suffered a huge defeat

My money is on that he will challenge for leader ship after the election and go back on his word

Will the agony for Australia ever end?? No, not as long as this Labor government is in power.

Here we see the government of our country sliding into anarchy & confusion while the public watch.

Yesterday we saw a spectacle of political cowardice by Rudd that saw his supporters left swinging in the wind then beheaded.

Since we have been punished with an incompetent government, since we have witnessed out of order comes chaos, we are watching the dying days of a failed government.

She should go to Government house today to, immediately, to bring it on, (as she's so fond of saying), bring on the election & let the agony end.

The poisonous air that hangs over this party is destroying all faith in politics, all hope in good governance, all hope for a solution for our country who is being let by a government that is poison, by a leader who is vindictive & vengeful.

They cannot rule, they fail everyday. The complete collapse of the media laws is one example, the withdrawing of the poisonous Roxon bills have been withdrawn, our borders are wide open to anybody with a boat.

Now she has beheaded all who crossed her, now she is leading with the policy of fear, how can a government function like this.

She is & has been behind in the polls since she replaced Rudd, Labor is heading for political catastrophe, political oblivion, nothing she can do now to make the public listen.

The spectacle of her in the house yesterday & her viciousness towards the opposition was breathtaking, her animosity to all who oppose her is visceral.

The Red Queen is in charge of the Titanic, God bless her & all who sail in her.

I have heard that this is a tactic to humiliate Rudd and make it  look like Gillard has the full support of the ALP mp's...

Word is that Rudd did not ask for this to happen... it was "forced" upon him... and all his backers were suckered in....

I also hear that no one wants Gillard but no one wants her job...

I think you might have something there.....

Did k Rudd decline to challenge

I heard this morning (ABC RN) that Crean had not talked to Rudd for at least two days and had NOT discussed his actions with him.  He just went out and called for a leadership spill.  After having been scathing to Rudd for ages, he called for a spill, for Rudd to run for the leadership, and then Crean said he would run for deputy.

Oh, right, this is great politics from such a wonderful team player ...

What was Rudd expected to do?

Here's Crean on Rudd last year:

He also talks about team work ... LOLOLOLOL ...

Crean should not have called the press conference when he did. It was so disrespectful to the apology event.

If Rudd had won the polls might have improved for a week but the press and opposition would have crucified them and they would have lost a lot of support from those that do have an interest and follow the events.
