Once a week I go to Wendys for a Coffee Chilla - its a weekly indulgence. However I do insist that it is made the way I like it. Today I sent back 3 before the kid got it right. I specifically ask that they follow the receipe, and not to wing it.
Boy, was that kid wild with me - I only sent back 1 last week (same kid). Hopefully next week when he sees me coming, he will head for the hills and I get one of the girls to serve me.
Hey Chillas are $6 each, they are not cheap!
For those that don't know a Chilla is a thick milky smoothie, yumm

what was he doing wrong?

I no longer visit the local coffee shop after I complained that their salmon patties didn't taste right. I have often treated myself to a light lunch there always having the patties. I was told there was nothing wrong with them, same chef and recipe, no offer to replace the meal and a dirty look.

Last week he only put 1 teaspoon of coffee in and it tasted like nothing.
This week - no. 1 he used the syrup and I said no, it does not have syrup in it, he said it does, and I said 'not in my Chillas it doesn't' then then next one had too much milk and was too watery, no 3 was chocolate! (I could see by the colour it was wrong) By this time the kid was ready to choke me, I am sure, but to his credit he kept his cool. He did not listen to my order. Perhaps he was just scared when he saw me coming
Ever mindful of how upset my own kid was at being treated like dirt on the KFC drive thru, I was not hostile or rude, but insistent to get what I paid for.

Poor kid, will probably quit his job.
Why don't you speak to the onwer/manager.? if the kid hasn't been trained properly how to make all the drinks it is not his fault. If the kid is just being slack the owner/manager needs to know, as it will be loosing them customers.

I hope not am*3, that was not my intent.
I have only seen kids work there, and I dont think any of them are the owner.
The Chilla is one of those things that seem to be made differently depending on what Wendy's you go to.

There must be a supervisor there, you could ask to speak to them and ask why when I order the same drink every week it is made different at times and not always nice as it should be. Other customers might just walk off and not go back, if they continue to get tasteless drinks or ones with wrong ingredients in them.
