What is this drug like??
does it make you drowsy and tired??
I have been told I might need to consider it for major pain problems right now.

hahaha.. yep.. sure am.. lots of mandarins.. they seem to have kept me regular.
I am good now so I won't take any more... the brufen and panadol seem to be fine now.
That fibro pain is so unpredictable... with me it seems if I can get on top of it it all goes... now it is just regular aches of arthritis..
I am going to get some deep tissue massage therapy next week.. I go to a chinese guy I discovered a while ago.. omg.. cheap and it works.

I'd take pain killers even if you don't have pain all the time...best to keep ahead of it, rather than have to catch up. Does the deep tissue massage hurt?

Yep.. the deep tissue massage hurts... it hurts for two or three days after too... but the long term relief is amazing...
I take pain meds before so I can handle it...

I have been taking Endep on different occasions for a reasonably severe spinal cord injury.
I went to the Doctor yesterday who informed me that Lyrica or Pregabalin is now available on the PBS.
I was on a "free" trial about 18 months ago and Lyrica put me out like a light and worked great as long as it is taken at the correct time there is not even the "hangover" and is generally less habit forming but previously I could not afford the full cost.
It basically switches of your brain responses from your body and was originally designed opfr epileptics who havve seizures during their sleep.
It may be another less habit forming option for Fibromyalgia, Neuropathic pain sufferers

I take Gabapentin but I take that for BiPolar..... as it is an off label reason I have to get it through the hospital BUT it is good to know it is on PBS and I can get it for fibro... that makes it soooo much easier because each time I need to renew the script i need to the the psych at the MHU....
Apparently I take a pretty high dose... I take 1200 mg per day and 600 mg of that is at night.. it does absolutely nothing for my sleep but does improve emotional dysregulation... BUT since taking it I do have a better quality of sleep and rarely wake during the night...
I often wonder how bad my pain would be if I stopped taking it???
thanks for letting me know it is on PBS... must look into it next time I see the doctor.
