Try a naturopath. Have you been tested for diabetes and Haemochromatosis?

Diabetes does not have the symptoms that Kilroy has.

It can cause some of those symptoms though.

Which ones? It certainly does not cause pain. Why do you think diabetes is called the silent killer....the symptoms can be very mild and hard to detect.

Roy, do you get headaches at the base of your skull ( back of head) ? Balance problems, fine motor skill problems?
And when do you get your brain mri results?
Also, have you had a sleep study?

I have got the point where I'm sick of wasting my time and money every time I go see these dr.s it's about $400 I fork out for very little result , I think I'm at th point where I just give in , I think I'm am going to cancel all up and coming appointments ,stop wasting my money on drugs that don't do enough to warrant the cost and just live with it and give up trying to work out what it is, I have no faith in drs anymore
I just read my own words a couple of years ago. I was forking out around $500 each time a Dr mentioned the word test.
I didn't have a whole lot of tests for the fibro because I was having so many for the liver, and because that could be fatal I just went with those. Also what can be done anyway. Treat symtoms if you can tolerate the meds, not much more. There really isn't a magic potion for fibro.
I believe if you can learn to live with it, you are better off than pumping yourself full of chemicals that can cause you other problems.
Obviously take pain killers on the really bad days if you can.
The hardest part I think is the lack of sleep. Maybe you can take a relaxent at night.
That is probably all I can suggest.
I can't do those things, however if I could I would.
Stay positive kilroy, you will find a way.

I have diabetes which was caused by long term high dose prednisone.
I didn't feel any different unless of course my count was really high then I just felt weird.
It is well controlled now. So the prednisone is nibbling at my bones instead. Mongrel drug it is.

Time to see a female doctor, methinks.
Trying to bring some humour, I can empathize with the frustration.
