Sorry channys mum
Reread it , it came across as a bit one upmanship , I will look into cprs but the symptoms don't Sound like me , but at this point to be honest I'm clutching at straws as my fingernails are getting to sore from hanging on
I didn't see it as one upmanship kilroy, who in their right mind wants to win on the pain scale
The one thing that I keep in mind is not to blame everything on fibro, because you can have fibro and something else at the same time. Therefore that particular thing may be a curable something.

Yes, fibromyalgia sufferer here.
I was diagnosed over 10 yrs ago. There used to be a checklist too (Devlins)..but cant find it now. I have practically all the symptons, from the sore muscles in the neck and back, irritable bowel, post nasal drip, delayed reaction to physical exertion, headaches and face pain, fatigue, brain fog....the list is endless.
Wouldn't wish it on anyone, and hugs to all those sufferers.

my sympathies to you all. i've seen firsthand what this condition does to people. the worst part for me is when someone says"well, s/he looks fine,it can't be THAT bad!" i just want to smack them!!!
i haven't smacked anyone yet,but i HAVE gotten pretty nasty. to me,those people are implying that the people who suffer with this are exaggerating, and i know they aren't.
i've seen the pain from just doing something as simple as getting out of a chair.

I know nothing of the complaint mentioned by the OP so I will no attempt to discuss. However I was diagnosed with RSD about 10 years ago after severe leg and knee fractures. I went into theatre a couple of times and had some sort of needle into nerves in my back. No medication injected, just manipulation of nerves. Then a course of Endep to try and kick start nerve function into my leg. It worked, and I wonder if this is a treatment that might help with Fibromyalgia, even a little?

Kilroy, i've been thinking about you and your ailment, I recall you posting some time ago about the type of work you do, tell me this, were your current symptoms a problem prior to you becoming involved in the type of work you do?
