Today I got a 50% reduction on the cost of my drivers licence renewal because of my exemplary driving record

 Do you have to tell them or do they automatically have it on record and will give you the discount straight away?

I didn't know.  I just fronted up and she told me I was entitled to a 50% discount.  I thought it may have been an age thing, but when I asked why she told me it was because I had no recorded infringements.

I didn't tell her I'd been speeding to get there because I was running late

I got 25% discount last time I renewed mine - Victoria

That was 2012.  In 2013 they scrapped it.   Now only under 26's get it

Congrats Lurker!! You are a good driver and I am proud of you.

I think that a discount on licencing renewal is a great initiative and one that could be brought into Qld.

I remember that... it was just after it came in... (before I renewed mine). 2012 I think.. time flies..

This is BS my record is unreal haven't had anything major just a small speeding fine for doing 8km over the limit. One fine in 20 years and I didn't get nothing.
