Today I got a 50% reduction on the cost of my drivers licence renewal because of my exemplary driving record

My mum always used to renew her licence for ten years. She had a renewal this year at the age of 91. Bro and I made an executive decision not to renew it. She hasn't driven for about three years, but threatens she will. lol.

How many kms do you drive a year ?

Do you normally drive within 10. - 20 kms of your home 90 percent of the time ?

Do you do much more than park in Coles or Woolworths shopping centre each week ?

Not having a go pat you personally but it is like my grand mother saying no speeding or parking tickets
And all she ever did was drive 4 kms to the Beaumaris Concourse shops LOL.

No it's not.   I got my licence at 25.   Even if I had stopped driving long distances

at 60 I still never got a ticket - ever

Vic...I was taught how to drive by a retired racing driver and was told by the examiner I had a lead foot (always within the safe and legal speed). No tickets here either 😛

Love driving and for years picked hubby up from work to save him the train (he hates driving in even a little traffic). So lots here.
