No not that house... the TV show House Rules.
Who's been watching that so far?
Who makes you want to through something through the TV at them?

I noticed on facebook a lot of the locals are going off about them. They say this pair are giving Tassie people a bad name 😄 (I thought the bogan bunch managed to do better at that :D)
Looks like I have some catching up to do. From what I've seen most rooms have been average at best.

What I don't understand is WHY you would go on a renovating show if you have never done any? The lack of skills is truly astounding.
It would be like someone applying for Masterchef that has never even boiled an egg.

the prize is a good one - your mortgage paid off - thats a good incentive to give it a go

pepe, nobody is going from this show. It is not like The Block. Every one of them has to participate in fixing the others house or they won't get their own done or be in the running for the big prize.
That Brooke from Tasmania gives me the pips with her constant critical pouting and sneer at everything anyone else says or does. She looks as if she is in a permanent sour mood.

when all the houses are renovated the eliminations start.
nobody is ever eliminated from the block.

Thanks, pepe. The elimination on The Block is right at the beginning. I did not know that there is going to be an elimination at the end of House Rules. I thought the winner will be by points.

Erica the winner of house rules is ultimately decided by the viewers, it gets down to just two teams left at the end with the public ringing a number to decide on who they want to win.
I admit I was laughing when Brooke and Grant got bunged in the Tent for this week and I think many going by the House Rules facebook page are well and truly over 'we have 7 kids' thing as the reason they should win, between Bomber and Mel there is 4 children and they've acted very carefully not to bring their children into it only with late this week Mel finally breaking over missing her daughter. I like Bomber and Mel.

You do know they all have a script to follow?

They don't follow a script in the traditional sense.
I'm fairly sure the script doesn't say punch a hole through the water pipe or don't disconnect the gas first.
