How many generations?

I was wondering for how many generations has everyone been in Australia?  Myself, I am at least 7th generation.

Re: How many generations?

According to my Aunt Gwen, who lived in Launceston, the original Field was a redcoat assigned to a convict ship..............until the 1970's, when it became fashionable to have a convict hanging (no pun intended) from your family tree...........then, suddenly, the original Field became a transportee.......

I'm only 1st generation (ten quid tourist) but Mr. Elephant has ancestors going back to the first fleet and enough convicts in his past to fill a small jail.Smiley LOL
