Really P007, since when?. Silver iodide only provides nuclei for supercooled droplet coalescence within specific atmospheric parameters.
Control lightning, how?, other than triggering it when natural atmospheric electric fields are present.
Does the lightning make any noise??.

'interesting' thought , I agree. Interesting also, to consider how easily bush fires can be caused by this sort of activity.
Very interesting how can be used as an economic weapon, similar to other engineered weather disasters.........and where following, within years, the area affected can become economically viable again after intensive recovery/replacement 'activity'.
