Is this rude? Telstra Billing

Do you think it will work?

Dear Telstra Billing

I am over phoning about the inept billing of my account. To cut a long story short I was having terrible trouble with my cable going offline even when several technicians came and went. This went on for months.

Because I was having ongoing issues Telstra suggested I add data to my iphone, they would bill me but then credit me for this usage. I am still being charged EVEN AFTER REQUESTING THEY REMOVE THE DATA, this was after a lengthy call a few months back.

I am enclosing a cheque for 50% of this bill as a measure of good faith on my behalf as I simply do not have the time nor the inclination to speak to someone from overseas and repeat everything AGAIN that I have already spoken about several times.

When someone with knowledge about these issues I have been having has the time to call me or write to me with a correct balance I will stop writing in CAPS lol ๐Ÿ™‚

Well the letter has had some effect, I just received an apology via phone and they said they are reviewing my billing since January and are sending a revised bill detailing all the credits due (and the call was from Australia)

Well done Donna, you have just been appointed the official writer of complaints to Telstra on behalf of ebay members because you are the first person I know to have any success.

It is rare for anyone to respond to letters, most business want to do it all via email or moblie phone testing.

Maybe because I included the letter to billing along with my part payment? I thought that might get their attention as they would have to manually change the amount paid and take a closer look.
