Victorian Premier Denis Napthine has conceded the parole system failed murdered Melbourne woman Jill Meagher and he has ordered a former High Court justice to review the structure of the Victorian Parole Board.

I was listening to a talk back radio show about this, and I think the consensus from everyone is pretty universal.

Re: Its an absolute disgrace

what we need is a lot more women on parole boards and as judges... that is one area where I think quotas are a legitimate call.

more women in charge of making these decisions and we will have a safer society.
