Azureline, I hope she gets as long too.  The first time I saw the only photo I can remember of Kiesha it was so awful to see her neglect.  Sad eyes and dull hair.

Has this mother been sentenced yet?  I cant find anything on this since late June?  I'd be interested to here what DOCS had to say about why she wasn't removed from her mother's care when she had only attended school for 4 days of her life and that they were aware of the abuse?  I was watching a similar case about a child in New Zealand (a documentary on foxtel) broke my heart, why are these children  not being removed from abusive parents?

I don't think so.  This is from a news article on 28th June.

Kristi Anne Abrahams - who yesterday cried as her lawyer outlined her childhood abuse and said "it's easy to hate her" - will now wait three weeks to learn her sentence for murdering her six-year-old daughter.
