Very spectacular!

I am with Foo on this.....I don't like lightning.  We have an electricity sub station at the end of the street and it has been hit by lightning more times than I care to remember in the 48 years I have lived here.

Wonderful sight but I wouldn't be thrilled as I'm nervous in thunder and lightning storms,  and my dogs agree with Foo that they are very scary.

I like a good lightning storm, providing it isn't too close! My cat has been known to sleep out on the back decking through a thunderstorm complete with lightning. Fireworks she will sleep through as well as any rescue helicopter attempting a landing on the roof instead of the hospital!
No, she isn't deaf. Just not scared of anything much.

Thanks for the post David.  I know how dangerous these kind of storms can be, but at the same time I am always excited to watch the awesome power in such a magnificent display by mother nature.
