its like someone saying here recently
they would never go near a christian church
or support anything associated with it - that's
ok, isnt it?

Might have been me? I don't support christian churches or for that matter, any religion at all ....
My experience in particular is with certain so called 'christians' who are anything but christian, who don't even follow their own beliefs, are hypocritical to the extreme, and if they consider Jesus is their 'saviour', then it really does put the whole system (and him) into a dark place.
As for any religion, in my opinion only, it's unhealthy and the way it is used has never worked as it was intended to. History is full of murderous hateful religions up to the present day. It could be argued that if the non religious are against such practices, then that in itself (religion) brought it on.

PS .... I really like that brand of dark chocolate, 70% cocoa mass is splendid both for cooking and eating ...

The cover is Lindt Chocolate......
with prospects of a good old muslim bash lurking below the chocolate box lid.

right. so you understand where the op
is coming from.

@*julia*2010 wrote:sigh.............. how many times does the OP have to be told that Lindt chocolates (without alcohol) are Halal......... not non Halal?
this is about paying for halal certification.
can you really not understand that ??
in the context of this discussion - talking about
foods that are considered to be permissible for
muslims to consume is irrelevant if they are not
subject to halal certification -
certification that companies pay for.
are you the OP?
In the OP, it says Lindt chocolates are non halal.
Nothing about certification,
The thread WAS about Lindt chocolates being Non Halal, which I replied to.
Do you understand that?
on 14-03-2015 01:10 PM
It's only a muslim bashing thread, if people take the bait that the OP lays down.
I only commented on him eating chocolate. Nothing about halal
in our conversation - either side.
OP is determined re halal - no point in arguing the facts

Food can be halal without certification, not every food supplier needs or chooses to pay for certification.
Lindt have not taken a stand against it, they just don't have certification.

you've been reading and responding to
ufo's comments on this subject on many
occasions before this thread so you know
exactly what his objections are regarding
halal.
