You might want to check with Lindt................... they are halal, they are just not certified halal.
*sigh*
how many times does the op have to explain
that his objection is that companies pay for halal
certification?
if a company pays for halal certification - he will
not buy the product.

sigh.............. how many times does the OP have to be told that Lindt chocolates (without alcohol) are Halal......... not non Halal?
He can please himself what he buys and consumes and why.

this is about paying for halal certification.
can you really not understand that ??
in the context of this discussion - talking about
foods that are considered to be permissible for
muslims to consume is irrelevant if they are not
subject to halal certification -
certification that companies pay for.

Yet you are are proud or ignorant enough (or both) to flaunt your prejudice and ignorance in public. Pathetic. Going to the "Reclaim Australia" rally to reinforce your prejudice ? Gather with a few mates ? Wave an anti-Muslim banner ?
You could have just said "Lindt chocolate is great" (I like it too by the way) but no, you had to make it anti-Muslim. Well done you, furthering the cause of fear, division and loathing. You and your ilk (and sadly there's a few on these boards) make me sick.

Glad you enjoyed them, and I hope you threw away the plain ones.

@bushies.girl wrote:Why is so important that people like the Muslim religion?
I'm not advocating that anyone has to like the Muslim religion. I'm not a great fan of it myself, but then again organised religion of any form isn't important to me. What I am hoping for is that people don't hate and demonise them caused by the spreading of lies, disinformation and specious arguments.

The OP was about Lindt chocolates ... until .... the last line .... had to introduce the Halal thing. It was the OP's choosing to include it and therefore becomes an integral part of the post and relevant to the discussion.
I like Lindt by the way.
