OMG, that John is soooo frustrating.

He doesn't listen and then still doesn't listen and smiles.  pulling-hair.gif

Kopes

Thought you would be interested to read that Noma (from Copenhagen) is opening in Sydney in January 2016 for 10 weeks.

You can register your interest and enquire about bookings at the following site:

Thanks for that. Good to know, first I heard of it.

I have a friend whom experienced Noma In Copenhagen but said it was over priced and small trendy portions but beautifully presented.

Admittedly that person loves traditional Danish food and plenty of it.

Great for those looking and wanting to try something different.

Apparently a sensual, gastronomic once in a lifetime experience.

I too prefer good old fashioned homely food.

So for the price of 1 person at Noma and can invite 6 people to a buffet at the Danish club.

I will let others experience it, afterall I can always try the one in DK on one of my visits.

Does anyone know if Billie was offered a job in Fat Duck Melbourne or London?

Excellent, thanks to both of you.

Such a great experience for her, in both life and the culinary field.

I am very pleased at seeing another successful outcome of a young one in our wonderful world.

It's made my month. Smiley Very Happy

I too enjoyed the final. I was so pleased to see Georgia win a couple of rounds, you could see her confidence soaring. I felt sure Billie would ultimately win but at least Georgia went out on a high too.

One thing shocked me though. Did anyone else notice Georgia, I think it was, was cooking something (either final or semi final, I forget), maybe little cakes? in the oven. She lined each tin with cling wrap. She said it was so she could lift it out easily once it was cooked.

Was anyone else taken aback?Smiley Surprised

My first thought was my god, the cling wrap could melt in the heat, she's mad. But it didn't and it was all good.

Would anyone else ever use cling wrap in an oven??? (I know, I know, I am no masterchefSmiley Happy)
