I like Masterchef better than the other cooking comps.

Great way to start this season rather than the mass single tasks they used to do.

Now every hopeful contestant gets 1 hour to cook a dish tasted by the 3 judges.

With second chance contestants cooking for a blind tasting.

24 contestants get an apron.

I'm not a Marco fan, really. He won't ever be back, because of the biffo between him and Matt Preston. Matt having a public 'go' on radio, at Marco's son for his drug convictions.

Last night Sarah won! Upstairs to wait for the immunity challenge. How she managed that on a plate of just carrots, I'll never know.

Also the relay. Always fun to watch. 3 disasters and one clear winner.

And the one thing grinding my gears atm is everyone - and I mean everyone - including the announcer - saying ummunity!! Please people, it's pronounced with an i

I'm with you... if you can't pronounce the word, learn how to. If not, use another word in its place!!

I am looking forward to tonight's episode.

Just can't get my head around the different ways of presenting carrots...I couldn't do that if my life depended on it.

Yes a little surprised at Sarah winning with carrots.

Oh well, finished with the fun relay.

I also don't see any stand outs apart from young Jess with her desserts and Gina, Aldo, Kristen can all cook.

Agree with Jess, Aldo and Gina as faves.

Not so much Kristen - not a fan, sorry.

I also like Hoda, but don't think she can cook other than her culture.

But that goes for more than one of them.

Pressure test last night with black aprons.

Peach Melba. Haven't seen one of those since the 60's - seriously.

Fancy updated version last night, and tough to make all the elements required.

Like you, I haven't seen a Peach Melba since forever ago...I didn't think anyone made it anymore.

A very flash Peach Melba indeed.

I thought they all did a good job of a difficult task.

Chicken wings last night, and Rockabilly Sarah can't count, putting her out of the immunity challenge. Go Jess.

Lime Meringue pies looked very professional, I thought. And delicious looking.

How can you have too much meringue? Not possible IMO

Poor Shannon... Sarah forgot him. I'd most probably forget the other 3 judges and give everything to Shannon!

A bit of good quality ice cream to go with the meringue and all is good for me.
