Great to see some earlier faces and good memories.

I always liked Jess, Callum, and Reynold.

Very smart to have Gordon Ramsay kick it off seeing as the old judges are no longer with the show.

Looks like some interesting recipes to start off with.

Have enjoyed tonights episode.

Lots of quick cooks.

I knew Khanh and Poh would be in trouble in the last when they decided to do desserts requiring cooking.

Good decision by Callum.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Khanh shouldn't be going home. He irritates me, but he's such a good cook. I can't stand Laura. I so hoped it would be her going home tonight. If I see her cook another pasta dish, I think I'll scream. Not sure how she got through tonight without making pasta. Apparently even the judges are sick of her cooking pasta all the time. 

Crossing everything that Laura goes home at the next elimination.

I still see Reece, Tessa and Brendan as being the weaker ones with Poh not far behind.

My faves have always been Reynold and Callum. (And Jess, but she is gone)

But Khanh always cooks Asian (same as Sara did). Even when the brief is fine dining. Asian and fine dining don't really mix, even if you nail the cooking. Which he didn't.

The others tend to try to stretch themselves. Like Reynold cooking savoury when his place is on the line.

That's exactly what I thought. The comments were 6 years ago, which is a long time in the life of a young person. And by context, we might have to look at what that forum was like. People sometimes say things in order to fit in.

Other times, as we get older, our opinions might change a lot with more life experience.

What i found most disturbing in the report wasn't what Reynold might have said in a reckless moment of bravado as a 20 year old, it is what was at the end of the report- about whether Reynold would be reprimanded or councelled. I don't see why anyone should face compulsory councelling for having non mainstream views or opinions, as long as those opinions are not leading to illegal or antisocial actions. And especially over something that happened 6 years ago. He has already apologised. I think that's the trouble for young people these days. Anything stupid they do or say is likely to be on media record for ever more, whereas we were able to grow up more privately.

Brendan gone, on the cards IMO, I also think Reece is not far away.

Callum, Emelia, Laura, Poh, Reece, Reynold, Tessa are left.

I like Callum, Reynold and Emelia but anything can happen especially at this later stage, some contestants decide to go all in rather than playing safe. Recipe for a disaster.

I certainly wouldn't lose any sleep if Laura or Tessa went.

Emelia is a very confident cook, and I really like Reece.

Reece is a sweetie but not that versatile in cooking and I am just watching now with Reece not being able to think of what to do.
