....... That CS posters also respect the following ACMA ruling.

Under Schedule 2 of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992, which is administered by the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA), election advertising in the electronic media is subject to a 'blackout' from midnight on the Wednesday before polling day to the end of polling on the Saturday. This three-day blackout effectively provides a "cooling off" period in the lead up to polling day, during which political parties, candidates and others are no longer able to purchase time on television and radio to broadcast political advertising.

A 3 day berak once every 3 years is not too much to ask for 🙂

Yes it would be hard to do but lets see who can exercise some self control 🙂

I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

Actually, I see it a bit differently.

Respect should be applied, regardless of what we might privately think of someone else's choices.

How would we lift our game pepe?

After the election & Tony Abbott becomes PM he has a mammoth job to just get things back to normal & 55,000 illegal boat people to deal with.

All the people will flock on here to nit pick every little thing. Fair enough, but, let's hope it can't be humanly possible to have a govt as inept & corrupt as the last 6 years of Labor.

so, much the same as now? Woman Happy

John, I'd imagine that since you don't consider yourself to be, as you say 'myopic' that you would be keen to see the Policies and the costings to go with them before and in time to make your own 'informed/non biased vote' on Saturday.

IS: "........ in time to make your own 'informed/non biased vote' on Saturday......" A Freudian slip IS? : "biased vote"

IS I have taken a little  notice of what has been said via the popular media, even here ( I wonder if BB knows  there is an election pending), but as for making a decision I rely on what the business  media report for useful information as opposed to hand feeding of the flocks

My references.:

Alan Kohler's: Eureka Report.

Business Spectator

Patersons Securities (daily client reports)

Even:  The Australian Financial Review (It is Fairfax LL!!)

They manage to print what I regard as useful information, and had written off the ALP a fair time ago.

IS I live in a safe seat (myopic swamp), which is absolutely depressing, more so when most who ask  about my sign often have no idea what  my  cynical reference to "hunny" means ( even when explained), so I never bother to  mention the stockbroking  term: bear.

MM,

I can't imagine being any more myopic than to trust a politician who says  things like 'Trust me' ,the Australian public can do the policy costings, don't take everything I say as the gospel truth unless it's carefully scripted and recently seems only to have said that the promised big sell budget surplus is now just an 'on the way to budget surplus'.I understand (as I am sure the Labor Gov does) that things happen where money is concerned even with the best of plans are made .The game looks too crooked ...I want to check his cards and I hope that Australians who unlike yourself don't know much more than the garbage media gossip gives us get to and try to see what's in his hand before they vote for our next PM.

btw medihuny is fantastic stuff .

is he now mentioning his ideas re Unions and Federal Gov taking over that job ?
