Nothing too spicy or rich in case they are feeling a bit off from the chemo. Chicken is light...some sort of chicken casserole would be good and easy to freeze.

Apricot chicken, tasty and easy to reheat for times when they feel like eating.
I found bland food was better myself, dry biscuits, a little dried fruit, anything easy to digest.

Bags of boiled sweets were great for taking away that horrid taste in the mouth.

Can't find it but I rarelt measure anything anyway 🙂
Brown some beef in a pan and place in a casserole dish
In the juices cook a diced onion, chopped bacon and celery
Add a little flour and cook off
Add some water, tomato paste, mixed herbs, tiny bit of sugar and stir until it thickens.
Pour over the beef and cook in the over for about 50 minutes.
Serve with rice or salad
