Molly Ringwald is in town for the Cabaret Festival - how great does she look ! (ABC radio announcer with her).
Apparently her show is great, would love to see it. Feel free to post your favourite Molly Ringwald memories.

she was great in the 80s but she should have stayed away from Secret Life of an American Teenager.

Agreed Vampire. In fact, she made some grave mistakes in the late 80's.
She was first choice to play the lead in Pretty Woman but turned it down flat. That could have taken her into a whole different place.

Bump for Molly :-x
Saw her at the Cabaret Festival, she did a pretty cool set. Great backing band (sax, piano, drums, d/bass), she hasn't got the strongest jazz voice in the world, but sure as eggs better than me !
Only one reference to her movie life, singing "Don't You (Forget About Me)"

My OH's brother was a bouncer once, Molly Ringwald was in town for something or other and went to the club at which he was a bouncer...... He wouldn't let her in so she pulled the whole "Do you know who I am?" card; he replied "I don't care who you are, you're fat so you're not coming in....
:^O
That's my favourite Molly Ringwald memory

Did anyone else watch The Project tonight. Molly Ringwald was on it and she was so funny and entertaining.
She dedicated a song to Julia Gillard at one of her concerts with a mixed reaction. She really admires her apart from her stance on gay marriage.
Anyway, Molly say's
"Please don't vote in the mad monk" :^O
