So she had an xray this morning but my sister cant find out anything about it till the Doc comes back in the morning.
The Doc did talk to dad but dad doesnt take it all in and only hears the parts he wants to hear and then when he tells us, we only get a small part of the whole conversation.
I dont believe my dad makes decisions based on my Musm best interests

If your Dad has already put a DNR order in place then the staff will not ask again.
When my Dad was about to undergo an operation he insisted on a DNR directive. It was of course not necessary for that hospital stay but the next time he was admitted we were asked if it was still to be honoured (he was no longer capable of making his own decisions) and we confirmed his wishes. At the nursing home his papers were marked DNR as per the hospital papers and we were not asked again about our wishes.

HI Amy
Just saw this.
I actually felt what you said you feel. The exact opposite of what one is "supposed" to feel. I thought too that maybe it was over.
I am sooooo sorry you are all still in this situation.
big hugs
