I really dont care if a person drives in a way that causes them to die.

i do care when they do it where it might involve me or any other sensible people going about their business.

i really think a fine is way too soft for some drivers.

Like the way you said "sensible people", doesn't matter if they hit the not sensible, right ? 

I have been to the police a few times with my dashcam footage, the police appreciate it.

One camera in front and one in the rear of my car.

the odds of someone driving stupid hitting another driver driving stupid are?

Well if one stupid driver has a lot more probability of hitting something then it would make sense there is more chance of hitting another SD in theory.

Unless the stupid drivers are a very small proportion compared with lots of sensible drivers in that location at the time.

In fact it may be that stupid driving puts them in an unusual place making it less likely for 2 SD's to meet.

Unless there are limited number of unusual places at the time making it more probable.
