I thought steps was a great theme.
I expected to see cut out foot prints on the floor with dotted lines and numbers showing Dance steps, and I really thought some of our coasties would have footprints in the sand.
I thought people with kids might take a pic of the kids playing snap, or uno with the cards face up. I get lots of ideas but I don't have the props to make it work.
I want to know aboutthe padlock pic. what are they all for?

A love lock or love padlock is a padlock which sweethearts lock to a bridge, fence, gate, or similar public fixture to symbolize their love.[1] Typically the sweethearts' names or initials are inscribed on the padlock, and its key is thrown away to symbolise unbreakable love. Since the 2000s, love locks have proliferated at an increasing number of locations worldwide. They are often treated by municipal authorities as litter or vandalism, and there is some cost to their removal.

Pimpy that pic was taken in (I think) Amsterdam.
In aquite a few European countries they have a custom of locking a padlock onto a bridge railing and then throwing the key into the water. It is supposed to represent an unbreakable bond - many of them are engraved with names and dates.
This particular bridge was soooo FULL! they had padlocks on padlocks on ...you get the drift! The weight must be huge!

A bridge in Paris had a bit give way due to the weight.

Sadly they do have to cut off the locks now and then to save the bridge. It happens in a number of places. The idea is to throw away the key and you will always be together.
I reckon having a couple of kids does that,

JDSNoise- any background story to the cat sitting on the sulky seat? Renovation project? Noted an "occy" strap - was it newly arrived?

The image was taken at a place called Middlegate Station, Nevada. (You can find it on Google Earth.) I was just out exploring and I had heard that Middlegate had some very good hamburgers. They weren't lying. It was possibly the best burger I've ever had. Anyway, Middlegate was once a Pony Express station but now consists of a restaurant, a motel and a few outbuildings. Like many places in Nevada it has a large collection of buggies, carts, western type stuff, etc. The cat(s) aren't exactly house pets but they're accustomed to handouts from the customers. After mooching a few bites of my burger this cat jumped onto the buggy and sat there looking like it was waiting for someone to hitch up the horses and take it for a Sunday drive. "James, to the country club. And don't spare the horses!"

I gather you are referring to feather-clad rather than bikini-clad chicks. Now settle down Richo.
