Pauline Hanson To Stand In Federal Election Under One Nation party

I'm surprised no-one's commented on this yet, considering all the political threads on this board.

PAULINE Hanson has announced she will campaign for a Senate seat as a member of the One Nation party in the lead up to the federal election in September.

"I know most of us are sick of selfish, dysfunctional and egotistical political parties more concerned about themselves than the greater good of our nation," she said.

She said there will be One Nation candidates throughout the country to give people "more choice" when it comes to election day.

I admire her guts but I think the press will eat her alive.

Of about 6 callers on this morning's breakfast show only one was unsupportive.

 I wish her well.

Let me guess her policy platform. Immigration, dole bludgers, boat people .. Yep, i checked, i was right 😄

She hasn't grown any neurones since last time. Horrible, ignorant, embarrassing politician IMO.

Pauline has had a rough go all round.

I would venture to say that there are a quite a few who agree with some of the things she stands for but are afraid to come out of the cupboard because they would cop flack.

it will be very interesting to see how well she goes.

If she gets in I am sure she will give as good as she gets.

She is a lot less radical than the Greenies

The one thing about Pauline that sets her apart from the rest is her honesty, clearly a rare quality in a polly

she smells where the fear is and focuses on it. unfortunately for her the libs have a stranglehold on the far right now so she's not needed. she's not that sharp either, so she has failed to think of any new fears to exploit.  redundant.
