Do you shoot your noisy miners?
I want one of those guns that shoot hundreds of little pellets.
That would teach the neighbour cat as well to come into our garden and hunt native animals.

No, I don't shoot noisy miners.
Yes I do have one of those guns that shoot lots of little pellets.
We have shot 3 Indian miners recently.
I bought a nerf gun that shoots large 'bullets' that make a whistling sound. I use it on the galahs. I think it would work well on a cat.
Or one of those pump action water pistols filled with vinegar or something cats don't like.

I wouldn't advise that, against the law in about 5 ways.
Get a trap, wire trap.
Or soak bread in sleeping tablets and feed them that, then get rid of them.
Yes, they are a PITA.
hahahahaa
that reminds me od something my grandmother did a long time ago. She cracked the sh1ts with the neighbours two cats that spent their days sleeping in her flower fots and crushing the plants. She gave them sleeping tablets. Those darn cats slept for nearly 3 days then woke up and carried on as normal.

I always wondered if a miner bird and myna bird were the same thing.
Identification: Mynas and Miners. How to tell the Common Indian Myna from the Noisy Miner, an Australian native bird. Miners were named after mynas because they looked alike to European settlers. The name myna comes from the Hindi maina.

Noisy Miners are a protected species in all States of Australia and the ACT, and may only be culled with a permit from the appropriate State or Territory wildlife agency.

Discharging a firearm, including an air rifle in a built up area is illegal. I would not boast about it on a public forum, you never know who is watching and there are people her who would be just too happy to report someone else who is breaking the law.

I'm sure most people are aware I live in the sticks, but hey, go your hardest.

I got shot in the elbow with an air gun by a boy shooting sparrows from his upstairs window when I was a kid.
It was good though because his mum made him buy me a painting by numbers set.

There's a gas gun in the paddock across from me. I wish they would deactivate it of a night time. I'm pretty sure the cockies don't eat the crops of a night
hmmmm maybe it's meant to scare the pigs and roos too
