Coronavirus Care Army raises alarm after 80yo woman falls and breaks hip, trapped in house for days
isnt this how police should be shown in news stories
and not the stories of thuggery and lawlessness we often see.

If you gave links to non-paywalled sites it would help.
I realise that they aren't all right-wing loonie sites, but in the interests of balanced reporting...
In fact the paywalled sites seem to be predominantly right-wing loonie.
Funny about that. They would appear to only want fellow travellers.

Victoria Police reviewing alleged 'choking' arrest of woman not wearing a mask in Melbourne
on the face of it i thought, yes, police over doing it again
but no, on reading the story i have no sympathy for this woman
she has an exemption, but didnt mention it until after her arrest
she caused the whole thing just like the idiot at bunnings
its up to the individual when approached by police to say 'i have a medical exemption'
and produce it
or suffer the results of acting stupid

There seems to be more and more of this.
Maybe they're baiting the police to video 'rough handling' so they can sue for a payout?
But they should still be fined IMO if they don't produce their exemption when confronted.

I do agree with you David......but it surprises me that the police are not more careful how they restrain people. Surely they are trained to do it in a way that doesn't potentially seriously hurt the detainee?

It is provocative behaviour - but the police should have the nouse to handle it in a way - they are not seen to be ' overdoing ' it.

Just as an aside.....she should be fined anyway.
What was she doing in Collingwood when she lives in St. Kilda?
5 klm radius? St Kilda to Colllingwood is over 7 klms
18 min (7.6 km) via State Route 29
