I put a little curry powder in my pumpkin soup also.
Whole nutmeg grated in preference to dried, is nice for pumpkin soup.

well. that was a big hit with the family. this is the recipe I used only I used 2 onions instead of one because we like our onions around here

Once at a restaurant we had a risotto served in a halved small pumpkin, similar to janebabe's recipe. I'd like to try that one too
