How can the kid come back from 32 years ago. Did he fall in a wormhole? Did a scientist take a DNA sample at time of death and clone another kid? Any theories?

I watched the original French version 'The Returned'.

Missed the first episodes of US version,  seems they've changed it a bit.

Dunno, just saw the previews,  would have liked to watch

from  the beginning.  Maybe I can download? Have to see.

But anyhow, enjoy.  I liked the original

From watching The Returned, and reading the blurb on the back of the book, it is entirely supernatural. Check any realistic ideas you have at the door and enjoy the show. Or not, if it's not your 'thing'.

Aliens probably picked him up and after they were finished with him, threw him down the chute where he got caught up in the eddys of the time/space continuum until he finally landed back on his home planet by some extraordinary fluke.
