that we all stopped commenting or passing judgement on posts or threads that we don't like?
eBay is a large and diverse community, There are always going to be some that like some things and some that don't.
So, as long as the post/thread is within eBay's guidleines, is it time to just let people post what and how they want?
Perhaps if you do find something offensive, how about PM'ing the person involved to politely explain your position instead of doing it in a manner that may cause humiliation.
*Disclaimer, the above option did not work very well for me, so in no way can I advise that this is the best option, but just a suggestion. LOL.

I don't think C&P is bullying - that is ludicrous.
I do think it can be VERY annoying - surely any adult person here is capable of googling something themselves if they are sufficiently interested in the subject.
I rarely post here these days, mostly due to the interpersonal disputes which I think are childish rubbish. I dont understand the stringer stuff, nor do I have any wish to.
I still get very annoyed when I see some posters who hounded very fragile person off these boards a year ago, still posting here - but I guess that's life and, having voiced my opinion to the moderators who could not care less, in the broad scheme of things my feelings regarding that are of no consequence.

I suppose anything at all can be googled without having a discussion about it?

I suppose it can, but would we? and sometimes I can't find stuff no matter how I google.:-p

I don't mind reading things I am interested in and discussing and learning from it.I suppose we all have different interests and want different things from the discussions.
Rosie, I don't think anyone should be hounded .

I think this PM'ing posters could work in a totally non productive way.
What if you're not part of the clique? then the other posters could gang up on one.
I think it's sneaky & I don't think it's appropriate to ask a poster privately about something if you're participating on a thread.
If you are posting something that can't be discussed openly then ask yourself "is this the place to be doing this?"
Ask or tell or debate in the open & take what others post as either helpful or not.

hmm I have to admit I'm not a fan of C&P posts or long scrollers, I don't ever read them. Maybe I just have a short attention span 😄
2 people use them, the OP is one, maybe they do it to prove their point???

lol Az I only see two about but I don't read many threads. So am I wrong or is one poster sort of being harassed for scrollers and others not?? I don't get that
