I think we should be looking to see what we can do to stop all the unrest and rebellion in the middle-east that's driving these poor people out of their home.
Who's arming the rebels and who's leading them and financing them, and why?

Australia is one of around 27 countries that offer resettlement places. Ten countries have established annual resettlement programmes of 500 or more (UNHCR referred) refugee places. Australia consistently ranks in the top three resettlement countries, along with the United States (US) and Canada, who collectively provide over 80 per cent of global resettlement places.
How is that number determined and is extra 7.500 possible?

It is 24 hours since I received this from Avaaz. Tomorrow is the meeting and I hope with all my heart that they will come to a cease fire agreement at least.

Thank you meep.
It all brings tears to my eyes, remmbering my own childhood horrors. I like to help as much as I can and am glad you gave us this link.
I really cant say anything any more. My heart is breaking for those innocent children.
