To all of those in QLD facing floods again good luck. 

140mm in my back yard last night. Roads flooded already and no let up on the near horizon. 

Take care, have your emergency plans ready to enact. 

They are opening up the dam gates down Brisbane way in preparation....

so do I.. the water has fallen back dramatically... much faster than they thought it would but unfortunately where she lives is well known for it's bad drainage problems.... they have been working on it but don't think the work is complete.

The ses have just been, now have ventolin and endone.

I also just found out that the shop north of north bundy (last shop before you leave town) will have supplies, I will ring them first though as I don't really trust what anyone says.

I may even be able to get to moore park beach tomorrow,they are getting supplies I know.

So today I will try to catch up on some sleep.

and yeah!  the people who live at MPBeach have been complaining about their drainage for a long time.  I don't live there but understand how angry they must be feeling.

Well, just an update on whaty's happening...........I'm sure it's riveting news :^O

I finally made it into Moore Park Beach this morning !!  jStill a small amount of water over the road, think it will be all gone by tomorrow.

Sooo, I now have REAL milk, fresh bread and the puddy cats have food 😄

Have no idea how long it will be before I can get into town over the bridge as North Bundy has huge sinkholes in the road and these will have to be repaired first.  People are now allowed into their homes to start the huge cleanup.  They will need all the help they can get 😞

It will be a massive cleaning job from what I have seen on the media. Is your OH able to get home?

Hi az, he wont be home until next weekend now.  The roads should be a bit better by then anyway.

and yes, the cats are very happy LOL
