That is absolutely frightening. The police officer is totally out of control and acting in a dangerous manner which could have lead to someone in the family getting shot and killed.
Even if a doll was "shoplifted" (and nobody knew that at the time), did he really have to act as though there was a serial killer or mass murderer in the car?
It would seem this kind of law enforcement is becoming the norm .. unfortunately making the public really fearful of it. Perhaps they (the officers) will have to be trained from scratch in quite a different way. Hysteria, paranoia and over reaction will have to be weeded out, and quickly; it has no place.
These kind of officers give their colleagues a bad name, they are not all tarred with the same brush but the result may be that ultimately, nobody will call police when they need real help .. creating fear of police is not helpful.

i watch a lot of youtube videos of police in the USA and one thing i have noticed they hire ex military personel a lot.
these men (and women) have been trained for war not civillian policing and often go in gung-ho, with a shoot first ask questions later attitude.
i'm sure when in a battle zone pulling a weapon and yelling like a crazy nutter is fine, but in suburbia its a recipe for disaster.
this family being black i'm just amazed someone didnt die.
